Tavol Group Gives Back: A Day at Cuilan Nursing Home

Tavol machines work in more than 120 countries. Our people live here, in Tai'an, Shandong — and recently a Tavol team spent a day at Cuilan Nursing Home in Xintai, delivering everyday supplies for the residents: adult care products, tissue and household essentials, packed and carried in by hand.

Why we do it

The name Tavol comes from two Chinese characters. Tai (泰) is taken from Mount Taishan — the weight of industry, steadiness, reliability. Wo (沃) means fertile soil — a feeling for the land and the people who work it.

For 22 years we have grown the way a factory grows: by being trusted, order after order, by people we may never meet. That trust came from the community around us — the families who work in our plants, the towns our suppliers live in, the neighbours who put up with our trucks.

So giving back is not a marketing line. It is the same logic that runs the business: if you take from a place, you put something back.

What the day actually looked like

Not a cheque and a photograph. Our team loaded and unloaded the supplies themselves, sat down with the carers, and asked what the home really needs. The staff at Cuilan look after elderly residents every day of the year; the least we can do is make one of those days a little lighter.

Our commitment

We build heavy machines — cranes, forklifts and tractors. But a company is also a neighbour. We will keep showing up: in our hometown, and in the markets where our customers live.
