60/15T Double Girder Bridge Crane for Power Plant in Bangladesh

Double Girder Bridge Crane, also known as double girder overhead crane, consists of bridge, trolley travelling mechanism, crab and electrical appliances. Double girder bridge crane is applicable to the transfer, assembly, check and repair as well as load and unload at mechanic processing workshop, subsidiary workshop of metallurgical mills, warehouse, goods yard and power station. The double bridge crane can also be used instead of common double girder overhead crane at production workshop in light textiles or food industry. The working duty of double girder bridge crane is A5-A7. The working ambient temperature is generally -25°C to 40°C. It is forbidden to work in environment with combustible, explosive or corrosive media.

We got the inquiry for double girder bridge crane and bridge crane components from one of our old clients in Dhaka, Bangladesh on 15th, May, 2019. We sent an invitation letter to their company, the general manager visited TAVOL before. Our Manager was also invited to visit their factory. After mutual friendly discussion with their chairman Md. Enayetur Rahman, TAVOL finally got this big order.

After 60 days intensive production, all the double girder bridge crane, bridge crane components and spare parts were packed by 22 pieces of 40 feet high containers. Because all the spare parts are not standard size, it took one week to pack these machines, which we delivered and packed by three lots, except the main girder. All the other parts such as overhead crane end trucks, overhead crane hoists, overhead crane winch, overhead crane motors, gearbox, brakes, wheels etc were packed with wooden plywood box.

The professional TAVOL Team went to guide installation for the 6 sets Double Girder Bridge Cranes in Dhaka, Bangladesh on 1st June, 2019. These 6 sets double girder bridge cranes were installed in Foil Rolling Mill Shop for Foil Auxiliary Unit, Separator, Roll Grinding Unit Section, Annealing Bay Section, Packing area section, Re-winding Bay and materials handling workshop. After the building finished, this company will be the largest foils factory in Bangladesh.
