How to Choose the Double Girder Overhead Crane Model LH and Model QD? 

Double girder Overhead crane mainly consists of bridge, trolley travelling mechanism, crab and electrical appliances. And is divided into working grades from A4 to A7 according to the use frequency.

The main model of Double Girder Overhead Crane is : LH Model and QD model Overhead Crane . But many user is puzzled thant they can not confirm which model is workable for their workshop. Now we made a compare list for LH & QD model overhead crane to assist you to get the best choice .

  

1. Work Duty :

The work duty of LH Model overhead crane is A4 : moderate Duty.

Moderate duty: lifting the rated load, generally lifting medium load, used in heavy work workshops and garages, such as power station,general machining and general assembly workshops. ,

QD Model overhead crane is heavy duty A5 A6 A7. It is suitable for heavy capacity and heavy duty

Heavy Duty: Always lifting the rated load, generally lifting heavy load, used in heavy work workshops and warehouses, such as long-term frequent lifting of heavy items and metallurgical workshops.

2. Advantage 

 LH Model: Compact structure, light weight, Save space and add lift height 

 QD Model : Can suitable for heavy work duty ,can work in complex and harsh conditions

3. Disadvantage

LH Model : Not suitable for heavy duty

QD Model : Price is higher , with high wheel load and heavy self weight

 

4. Main Beam :

LH Model : Strong box welding type Q235B carbon structural steel with seamless .once forming technology more strong and elegant. Weight and Height of beam is lower than QD model ,with light weight ,can save space and add lift height .

QD Model : Strong box welding type Q235B carbon structural steel with seamless once forming technology more strong and elegant. The height ,thickness and self weight of main beam is higher than LH overhead crane

 

5. Lifting mechanism

LH Model : LH overhead crane lifting mechanism is Hoist Trolley , The mechanism of hoist trolley is simple , main include : Trolley Frame ,Trolley wheel , Trolley motor and Hoist etc ,lifting parts is Electric Hoist

QD Model : QD overhead crane lifting mechanism is the open winch trolley. Open winch is suitable for heavy capacity . Main parts include : Open winch trolley frame , trolley wheel etc. Lifting parts include : lifting motor ,shaft coupling, hydraulic brake , reducer , drum ,lift switch etc

  

  

6. Lift capacity :

LH Model : Lifting capacity from 3 ton to 32/10 ton.

QD Model : Lifting Capacity from 5t to 200/50 ton.

 

7. Self weight

Same capacity ,span and lift height , The self weight of QD model overhead crane is higher than LH Model

 

8. Work conditions :

LH Model: Widely used in the busy work shop, like the normal machinery processing and assembly line etc.

QD Model: Widely used in the busy workshop, long times and frequently loading the heavy duty materials, steel plant etc.

This is decided by the Actual working conditions, lifting capacity, operating frequency, working time, lifting speed, and lifting height etc.
